The mission of the Chamber of Commerce of
Cape Coral is to "Promote and Serve Business and Community". The
vision statement is to be the first and only choice for
businesses who want to partner to succeed.
The Chamber of Commerce of Cape Coral is a
non-profit 501 (c) (6) membership organization utilizing the
membership investment for operations of the Welcome Center,
business advocacy, business growth & recruitment, and promotion
of the community. The Chamber of Commerce of Cape Coral and its
volunteer leadership are conscious that for its members to be
successful the community must be successful.
The Chamber is operating as a non-profit.
Therefore, it is not the Chamber's function to accumulate assets
for distribution to the leadership or its members. Being that it
does have a corporate status, it is required and expected to
accumulate assets to achieve its annual "Program of Work", which
incorporates the tenets of the mission and vision of the Chamber
as well as it's Board of Directors responsibility.
